Terms

These terms cover playing Golf Tactics at golftactics.com and buying a Patron membership. Golf Tactics is run by Golf Tactics LLC (“we”). By playing, you agree to them. The game opens on November 2, 2026, and these terms apply from then.

The game

Golf Tactics is a daily golf strategy game. It's free to play in a web browser. Each day has one hole for everyone, one official try per player and unlimited unofficial replays. We may change the holes, the scoring and the features as the game grows, and we may pause the game for maintenance.

Your account

You can play as a guest, or sign in with your email address or Google to keep your rounds. Keep access to your email secure, since it's how you sign in. One account per person.

Fair play

The boards only mean something if everyone plays fair. Don't use bots or scripts, don't use more than one account to improve your standing, and don't try to get around the one official try a day. Choose a name that's fit for a clubhouse. We may remove a name or a score, or close an account, that breaks these rules.

Patron: terms of sale

• What it is. Patron is an optional paid membership. At launch it includes no ads, the classic holes on the Library shelf as practice, and every past daily hole as practice. Full courses join Patron later at no extra cost. Patron never gives extra official tries or any advantage on the boards.
• Price. $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, in US dollars, with any sales tax or VAT included. Stripe's checkout may offer you the price in your own currency.
• Who sells it. Patron is sold through Stripe, which acts as the seller: Stripe takes payment, collects any tax, and sends your receipts. Stripe's own terms also apply to the purchase.
• Renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. We'll tell you before any price change applies to you.
• Cancelling. You can cancel any time from Settings in the game (Manage billing). Your membership stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then ends without renewing.
• Refunds. Payments aren't refunded for partly used periods, except where the law requires it. If you were charged by mistake, write to us at hello@golftactics.com and we'll sort it out. If you live where the law gives you a right to cancel a new purchase within a set time, you have that right.
• Deleting your account ends your membership, and any time left on it isn't refunded.

Ads and sponsors

The free game shows ads, or a sponsor in their place, on screens away from play, never during it. We don't take sponsors in gambling or betting, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, crypto or politics.

Real courses

Some holes are drawn from real golf courses so golfers can play them. Golf Tactics isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any course, club or architect it shows. A course can write to us to correct its holes or to have them taken out.

What's ours, and what's yours

The game, its drawings, its software and the Golf Tactics name, mark and crest belong to Golf Tactics LLC. You may share your results and share images; that's what they're for. What you send us, such as a rating, a report or a letter, we may use to improve the game.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the game running and fair, but it's provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Golf Tactics LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived by law.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll also tell players in the game before it takes effect.
