Golf Tactics
Privacy
Golf Tactics is built to know as little about you as it can. This notice covers golftactics.com and the Golf Tactics game, both run by Golf Tactics LLC (“we”). The game opens on November 2, 2026, so this describes how it will work from then.
What we collect
- Your account. If you sign in, your email address (sign-in is by a one-time code sent to it, or with Google) and the name you choose to show on the boards. You can play as a guest without an account.
- Your play. Your rounds, shots, scores, ratings and settings, so we can keep your scorebook, rank the boards and run the game.
- Letters you send. What you write to us and the email address to reply to.
- Patron. Stripe takes payment, and we never see or store your card. We keep only whether you're a Patron, your plan and when it renews or ends.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting providers process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information. The game sets no tracking cookies and doesn't use Google Analytics. This launch site sets no cookies at all.
Cookies and storage
The game stores what it needs on your device to keep you signed in and remember your settings. These are essential to the game and aren't used for tracking.
Ads
Players who aren't Patrons see ads from Google AdSense on screens away from play: the result, the Clubhouse, the Locker and the Library. Google may use cookies to show and measure those ads. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent first, and if you decline, you'll see ads that don't use personal data. Google explains how it uses information from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com. Patrons see no ads.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for its part of the work:
- Vercel hosts the game.
- Supabase stores accounts and play, and runs sign-in.
- Netlify hosts this launch site.
- Stripe sells Patron memberships and handles payment, tax, receipts and billing.
- Google serves ads, provides Google sign-in if you choose it, and runs our email.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and play for as long as you have an account. When an account is deleted, we delete its information, except for anything we must keep by law, such as Stripe's billing records. Letters are kept as long as needed to answer them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its information. Write to hello@golftactics.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Children
Golf Tactics isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll also tell players in the game.
